A multifaceted business leader in Greater Hartford, Connecticut, Paul "Paolo" Mozzicato serves as principal of a local real estate company and a local bakery. Outside of the professional arena, Paul "Paolo" Mozzicato supports the charitable efforts of the Dream Ride Experience.
The signature fundraising event of The Hometown Foundation, the Dream Ride Experience takes place over the course of a weekend and features parades of classic and exotic vehicles. These parades pair volunteer drivers with “dream riders,” who are Special Olympics athletes that experience a range of mental or physical impairments. The Dream Ride Experience has raised more than $15 million to date and a record-breaking $2.5 million in 2020 alone. Through its official website, the Dream Ride Experience encourages members of the general public to sponsor a Special Olympics athlete, paying for transportation to and from the event, lodging and living expenses during the event, and admission to all event activities and experiences.

A resident of Avon, Connecticut, Paul "Paolo" Mozzicato has been in the real estate industry for over 20 years and is the owner and operator of both a successful real estate firm and a successful bakery. Paul "Paolo" Mozzicato is also actively involved in local charities, including the Dream Ride, which offers an annual weekend experience that is fun for people of all ages.
The Dream Ride Foundation was created in 2001 as a charity to help use cars and motorcycles to give back to those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In its almost 20 years it has grown substantially, and the annual Weekend Experience is visited by thousands of people and raises millions of dollars for the local charity. The Weekend Experience has a number of events throughout the weekend, starting with the dream cruise and Wrangler rally. This cruise pairs drivers of exotic and classic cars with Special Olympics athletes for a 12-mile, police escorted cruise. The title-event, The Dream Ride, consists of thousands of motorcycles converging on Connecticut to tour 40-miles of the countryside while escorted by police. Other events include car and motorcycle shows with some rare and unique collections. There is also a K-9 challenge for police officers to enter and see who is the best handler and dog pairing. Lastly, there is a chili cookoff involving firefighters that awards winners with trophies and cash prizes. Close |
