An experienced property manager based in Hartford, Connecticut, Paul “Paolo” Mozzicato has served as principal and project manager with Mozzicato Real Estate, Inc., since 1999. When he is not acting as a general contractor or fiscal analyst at the real estate company, Paul “Paolo” Mozzicato is a passionate philanthropist who engages with a number of groups and causes, including First Tee of Connecticut.
First Tee is a golf-based youth development program that uses the sport to help participants develop character and important life skills. The organization operates six programs. Group lessons are offered at 11 courses throughout the state. Lessons are held in spring, summer, and fall. Prices for group lessons vary, but First Tee provides financial aid to youth who need assistance. Individuals are encouraged to only sign up for one lesson at a time so that all children have an opportunity to take part, but those interested in more frequent sessions on the course can look into the First Tee summer camp. The four-day experience provides ample course time, including sessions dedicated to young golfers aged five and six years. Golf is an individual sport, but First Tee has developed a team golf program that supports the organization’s life skill building services with elements of collaboration and communication, in addition to general social interactions. Individuals must have prior experience with the First Tee program before joining a team. The group also manages programs for families and winter golfers, as well as female golfers who would prefer to refine their game among other girls. More information about these programs can be found at the First Tee website, firstteeconnecticut.org.
